Will probably be selling my Radiomir PAM337 too if anyone's interested:

400

(not my watch)

Really like this model a lot. This is the Panerai I should have gotten over my 560. The 42mm Rads are really appealing to me.

Sign up for the emails; they regularly have flash sales and specials.

Also did anyone read Hodinkee's recap of this week's NYC auctions? I found this quote particularly odd, "These were the exact opposite of lot 160, which was a freaking 5004G that sold at only $161,000! This is the price of a loaded BMW 5 series below where it should be selling – condition here must have been a serious issue. "

Not going into specifics of this; generally speaking the watches have been pushed as an investment (like paintings) already years ago; I would say that the market has gone a trifle speculative; on the long term I wonder how many are going to witness a bubble.

I get it. Capital has to flow somewhere, either a $4k Wittnauer or a 1100sqft house in Vancouver.
I just found the use of a bimmer 5 series as a unit of monetary measure quizzical.

Casual Friday:

? Vacheron Constantin did not even have enough money to develop new movements and they were really in a poor condition.
I have no idea how it's now; therefore I ask.

You said you would stop shitposting in SW&D. Please stop here too.

nice wrist :)
lots of the "capital" stems from the central bank printing facility and from a banking sector that "as systemic relevant" gets rescued (read fed) by the common taxpayer :(

sure, till you're an European taxpayer; it's unbearable!!! the government is stealing as bare!
I think the populace will have to sharpen those forks again and let the good times roll (I mean heads)

Don't see many Breitlings here, but I'm wearing my old (but not quite yet vintage) Navitimer Montbrillant today. I loved the look of this watch when I bought it and I haven't changed my mind all these many years later!
