Trading for something you like better is almost always going to yield less of a loss from new, with a dealer.

9 times out of 10....any watch you buy new from an AD will yield a loss even if selling privately.

99.999 times out of 100 more likely. It's a question of losing 20% versus 70%.

Nice....seems like you almost always see this type of fluted Rolex as a DJ or Day-Date, but it looks quite fetching to me sans cyclops.

Well, I'll be honest: I've never really paid a *whole* lot of attention to anything outside of Rolex's sport models anyway.

And to me, the Cellini family is kind of like its own ball of wax.

Nobody pays attention to Cellini. I love them, but never give them a second thought when I buy.

Stunning Reverso. I'm trying to figure how to add a Grande Reverso Ultra Thin to my small collection.

Looks like the first 116500 Daytonas are trickling out into the grey market, asking $10K over MSRP.

What does every one think of the newly announced Luminor Due?

I can get behind the idea of a thinner but can't imagine paying almost $11,000 for that watch. They stripped away a lot of what makes a Luminor a Luminor and replaced it with something that's trying to be both am action hero watch and somewhat of a dress watch
