Cool! Now there's something you don't see every day.

I love the 15202 and the ROO diver in steel, but with young kids and dogs in my life and all that entails, I just don't wear my watches carefully enough to consider one at this point. The ceramic would take care of that concern nicely, though.

Thanks for sharing! :)
Thank you!
I used to own a roo diver in steel, it's a great watch. Two divers was a bit hard to justify so I let it go. Miss it sometimes though, might buy one in the future.

Something you don't see everyday. Looks like a toy watch at a glance but the dial actually has depth and domed sapphire crystal. Great conversation piece for under $500.

You don't like the day-date or the Royal Oak? The Day-Date is one of the small handful of Rolex models that really appeal to me. I am probably a freak that way, but I am really drawn to that day-date, the Air-King (not the modern ones, but the ones from the 1990s and before, in the 34mm size), and the Oyster Quartz, which I am wary of getting just because they seem to be a pain to service. I really just like most Royal Oaks.

I love the datejust, and the Royal Oak as well. Really excellent watches, and designwise they are almost perfect. They have great movements as well, i am just not a fan of showing off just for the sake of showing off. Calling yourself Bawlin and posting purely gold watches is not my cup of tea - but again each to their own and all that good stuff. Althou for the money i would probably rather try to find a FP journe chronometre bleu, but oh well :)

Since there have been complaints about too few watches being posted, I thought I'd offer today's pairing. I have mentioned this before, but this watch was a lovely and touching gift from a close friend for my 40th birthday.

Love it. Just purchased it myself about a month ago! :)

I have thought about purchasing a good looking pure dark brown leather strap (without the contrast stitching), but it is difficult to find one that is as soft as the Santoni. I reckon it is a bit casual with the current contrast stitching one.

I actually hate the strap that it comes with and am looking into replacements for it. I'll probably end up going semi-custom, but there are some interesting options out there. I might even do croc, though that would change the look and feel of this watch pretty dramatically.

Thats nice! Just curious, out of all the great ALS, what made you go for this particular one?

I was able to beat the seller down quite a bit on price. :) I had a few models I would have been happy with but I never buy unless I get a great deal. Managed to get this one cheap enough that a dealer offered me more than I paid for it!

Posting a couple of photos of your watches in a watch thread where people are complaining not enough people are posting photos is considered showing off? Interesting.

People used to post Patek complications here. We're on a forum where people have entire closets of bespoke suits.

I have owned one for 15 years. Not a single issue with it. All I've done is bring it to Rolex's Service Center in NYC every few years, and they have always replaced the battery for free. Proof there are still a few things in life that are free

I think your DD40 looks great, though I'd prefer the RO on a gold bracelet. That would be really baller. :)

Is that a 5-digit Day-Date in your avatar? Which do you prefer, the classic DD36 or the larger DD40?

I'm sure we can get more creative than that.

A few ideas:
Suharto's Revenge
Zheng He
Parang Rusak
Not Minke
Missing the New Order
Jam Padang
Rolexus
Bhinneka Tunggal Ika
Cao Xueqin
Hitungan Mundur

Rolexus :rotflmao:
