I am disappointed with Shane. He was a much stronger character in the beginning of the season. His deterioration shows at points like aiming his gun at Rick, and trying to **** Lori. I feel like he and Rick would make a good team in leading the survivors. They already have a history and can keep people (like Merle, Jim, and the guy Shane beat up) under control when they need to. It's sad to see him fall apart.

Shane is a little *****. Not a leader at all. They show up at CDC and there's no one there and he starts to harangue the lead character and the doctor.

I thought the clock was more than a bit ridiculous, and I don't understand why they bother with special effects like the explosions if they're going to be so bad.

But I like zombie shows, so I'll give the first season a mulligan and hope the second season delivers on the potential.

^ Ha I remember thinking that. Funny she only remembered it right then, not when zombies were swarmining them outside the CDC or at camp. Anyway, yeah the effects are terrible but it'd be more distracting if the explosion took place off camera.
