Shitty writing and illogical character action means that my suspension of disbelief keeps getting shattered.

They start out with the kid in the trunk.
    They fight some zombies.
They end up with the kid in the trunk.

I shake hands with someone, touch my face and get a cold. How is it that all this flying zombie blood is not contagious?

The only realism in this show is in the make-up effects.

If they use more of the source material then:
Everyone is already infected and people who are killed with their brain mostly intact will reanimate. The bites themselves are deadly (causes some sort of fever) but death can be avoided if the bite is on an extremity that can be quickly severed.

Yeah that's what Rick was told by the scientist in the CDC after he'd set it on self destruct. You simply die from septicemia from the zombie bite as they're a decaying corpse so riddled with bacteria. No different to snagging yourself on a very dirty nail.

However their total lack of care around the zombies is annoying. To the point where they shoot or hack a zombie a few inches from their face, get covered on their face by blood splatter and then wipe their knife on their shirt.... :brick:

It wouldn't take too much to have toned that down

I thought the last ep was completely badass.

It's annoying how Rick ghosted those two guys in the bar so easily and now he's being a pussy again.

Ok so what was the big fixation with the two cops bodies? I feel like this is foreshadowing something else, unless it was just him wanting to study them more to see if they were bitten.

You can't see a difference between outdrawing someone who drew on you, versus killing an unarmed kid?

Those guys were clearly up to no good. The kid hasn't done anything to clearly put Rick and his family at risk. He's hesitant because he doesn't know that he will come after them if they release him. Shane wants him dead because there's a possibility that he will be a risk. Rick doesn't think that's good enough...not until he gets to sleep first. Again, one guy is quick to kill anything that gets in his way another guy isn't. That's really is what makes Shane so dangerous and untrustworthy a character.

Caught that too. Became zombies without obvious signs of attack (no bite marks).

What was with that lone zombie/person walking in the field that Shane saw?
