i think there's only a year between the two, iirc the movie was out before the first issue was printed. aside from the fact that both protagonists wake up in a hospital there's very little similarities between the two. TWD plays up more of the aspect of humans capable of being every bit as cold and vicious as the zombies, it's hard to find someone to root for.

28 Days Later had a lot of that element too I thought. That's why I loved it.

We actually just got cable specifically for this show! Super excited for it!

The comic book has been great, as well, from start to now... in fact, just read the lastest one. Once again, it looks like the 5hit is going to hit the fan!

Yes! It's on the tip of a new MAJOR storyline. The issue before last had a GREAT ending and the newest one really sets things up well for what's coming next.

In a real life apocalyptic situation, the slow ones would be preferable. In fictional movies, the fast ones are more fun.
