Hello SF, In this thread about some cheap shoes, BlueHorseShoe said "The vamps look like they are hanging on for dear life." Here are the pictures:What is that supposed to mean? The vamp is the front area of the shoe, right? So... basically I just don't get it. Like, the vamp is too flat? I'm a real noob when it comes to good shoes and a lot of discussion of the higher-end brands goes over my head. I've read this old thread which is great but I don't yet understand what "makes a good vamp" or what would push a vamp teetering over the edge. So thanks if someone can answer my question about these shoes, but any discussion of vampage generally would be interesting (for others as well, I think) to read.
