received my newest remote commission in Fox Air Charcoal blue with 3br2 with classic shoulders (slight rollino) and jetted pocket (lightly picked around pocket bag) . Pictures out of box. Antonio agrees we will work on pants and when he’s in town “nip” anything need be with the jacket. Photos may not be ideal but I had to “replace” my photographer wife with a tripod.

It actually looks good, sleeves are clean, back is clean, chest is roomy and even slightly drapey ,the waist flows well and there is no collapsing of the fabric on the back under the arms or in front on the chest. The waist suppression looks comfortable and appropriate for your physique.

Pants are very subjective, although yours look pretty good, they seem roomy, I personally prefer double pleated pants for comfort and drape and prefer little to no break to prevent disruption of the crease, but that is just my preference, I have an athletic build so relatively high waisted trousers along with pleats are my go to.

Was this in regard to my fit or someone else’s?
If mine, completely agree on the jacket.

I ordered two pairs of pants - one single pleat, one double. They’re actually much slimmer than I usually wear and I believe Antonio plans to widen slightly to help them drape better. Having some challenges in the front with some tightness in the crotch, hips and around the pleats which he plans to address. Maybe a tad slim on the behind as well. They have a fishtail back and are intended for braces and with the rise going a bit past belly button. Will post pictures after revisions.

Has anyone considered a commission with a lower gorge? A high gorge is very modern Napolitan, while Pastena's house style seems to be a mixture of traditional and modern Napolitan tailoring. A lower gorge align more with that traditional style, it is also likely to be in-style longer, but that is arguable given how popular Southern Italian tailoring has become.
This jacket was on the IG during the earlier days which purported a lower gorge height

The lapels break a little. A little more ease to the breast would enfance the fit.

Well, he just left LA after three days of fittings/appointments here. I was happy with my fitting. I ordered another suit. I'm also going to order shirts.

A lot of orders were made this week in Ascot 4-ply (most popular), Fox City, Minnis Fresco, Smith Woolens Finmeresco, Standeven British Mohair. I was surprised no one picked anything from the Fox Air collection, which I was looking forward to seeing in person.

The ones he brought with him to this trunk show were all Canclini. Don't know what else he carries. Costs were similar to Canclini stuff from Luxire. I can't be more specific or someone is going to try to hold him to that price when they read this thread in five years and his costs have risen.

Glad to hear everyone’s visits went well. Looked like good turn out in LA. Looking forward to him being back soon.

Can’t go wrong with 4 ply. Although I did add a Fox Air project in glencheck this week.

Re: shirts I think he likes to use the Canclini and that’s the cards he usually travels with. I ordered three in a Caccioppoli linen blend over the summer - a white, a blue and a stripe. He has two different offerings - A partially handmade and a fully handmade.
