do you guys ever feel weird about spending all of this money on expensive clothes, never wearing them, then selling them for less than you paid? seems pretty stupid to me. i am coming to terms with the nature of my fashion addiction, maybe you all should, too. what a waste of time and money.
I hate it but I’ve come to terms with it. Still rather get money back if I wound up never wearing something. I also have reached a point where I have a little more will power now cause I have so much. Also reaching more for items I haven’t worn yet has been a fun experience.

Wasting time and money is a hazard of any hobby, but at least I think it is far nicer to sell quality clothes to other enthusiasts who will wear them than do what most people do: throw all their extra (mostly crappy quality) clothes away or donate them to charities that mostly ship the clothes off to rot in giant piles in the deserts and coasts of poorer countries.

What's the sleeve measurement from the center back? It seems the shoulders are wide?

Also, is this taupe, gray, etc? Hard to tell. Thanks!

It’s a mix of taupe and gray. I tried to find the original stock photos, but this was sold a few seasons back on NMWA.

The sleeve measurement from center back is around 33”. I’m a 34.5” sleeve and it’s about 1.5” short. So I’d say this would work best for someone between a 32.5 and 33” sleeve length.

Happy to send additional close up photos if it’s of interest, but it’s hard to photograph.

I roll it into the cost of the clothing that sometimes I'm going to try something and it's not going to work out and I'll take a loss. On the other hand, some of my favorite and most-worn pieces were had at a significant discount because I found them in threads like these. I like sending off a big box of my unworn stuff to Luxeswap because I know the likelihood is way up that it will go to someone else who is a part of this community, and whatever I lose, they'll gain.

I could probably get more money back by taking a bunch of time to sell each piece individually but who cares. Time and enjoyment and the sense of community here are much harder things to get than money.

For what it's worth, I'm reliably a L in Inis Meain, but the large in the Beairtini was too tight in the body for me and too short in the sleeves (and I have short arms) one size up to XL was perfect. Really beautiful sweater.

Selling my new with tags, unworn Okochi Meriyasu basketweave mockneck in black. Size small. Haven't even tried it on - I have decided to purge all black from my wardrobe this month. I will cover the shipping costs from Canada (UPS). DM for deets.

Edit: Asking $450 shipped
Color me curious...why the black purge? I'm looking to add a piece or two (as a departure from my standard navy and brown, both of which however suit me and my skin tone better) for a change.
