weekend closet cull - late 2010s IM fisherman sweater and sphere one collab, tag size XL and straight up NWT new with tags, wool/cash, color 403. $250 shipped to conus.

fit wears more athletic than the IM fit of that era but still solid tts. from mwa delivery to forever in the cedar locker. i've had the brown and grey versions in rotation for years - with years to go - so thinking out to the thread wild this should go.

general details here - and i think @gd|203 once waxed loquacious on the long dormant preorder thread ca. 2017 - good hunting there.

Ah! Good to know. I've avoided getting one in part because the measurement seem all over the place. I just saw a 56 on ebay--I think from a user here?--with a ptp of 22", which to me seems like what a normal 52 would want?

I currently have 4 Valstarinos (god help me), 3 of which I bought from NMWA (including the fresh restock of the lined dark brown from NMWA earlier this month which is perfection). I have a true chest of 41" and I usually take a 52 in most Italian sizing coats and a 54 in Valstarino is perfect for me across all 4. I personally don't wear them super fitted, but they all fit naturally and with lots of flexibility for louche or for layering.

54 is at least a 23-24" p2p on all of mine, there's just no way that ebay measurement of 22" on a 56 is right without something having gone wrong somewhere.

Put a Valstar gunclub check overcoat in size 54 up on The Bay. Contact me here if interested. It will be cheaper for both of us.

This is kind of a weird question but why are so many people selling their Valstarinos? Isn't this like a classic suede bomber? Are they out of style now? Why are you selling yours?
I loved my Muschio Valsterino so much that I pre-ordered a different style suede Valstar jacket in the same color. I wore both for about a year and eventually found I was wearing the Cowboy jacket more, so the Valsterino is up for sale.

Just as another reference my Valstarino sz 52 is 21 inches p2p.
I'm in between a 40/42 and it fits slim. I don't think I would size up to a 54 though, it would be too big especially since I agree with the complaint about the sleeves being slightly long.
I have one in Sandal Butterscotch that is unlined if you're looking for one, worn but in great condition with bag and tags.

I found the sizing really odd and varying too much. But generally they’re generally too slim but the sleeves are too long
Echoing several of the other replies, I love my Valstars - have more than a few of them. Finding the right size can be a challenge - they fit slim - especially if you do not get a chance to try them on first in a B&M store. In the case of the suede down padded Valstarino is 50 that I am selling, I sized up to a 52 in the identical model, which now fits me perfectly. Needless to say, am now selling my size 50 in the model. The jackets are timeless.

Thanks but I have big fat lats so I need the 56 - lined with a sweater might be tight on me. Scoping a few out now and need to sell a bunch of my stuff too

I say this as I am (about to) sell my linen one (olive, 56, nwt) in favor of a lined suede one. I run hot and I just thought I would wear this and try to layer in the spring/summer and never did cause of course I hate wearing jacket except for late fall/winter.

and pulling this up from a year ago, still in box -

for anyone still on the hunt for heschung thuyas - tag size 11, chesnut. not supermotivated, but could still motivate at $300.

reboot/remotivate on - heschung thuyas - natural ‘chestnut’ calf, tag size 11 (went with my usual heschung size- check the nmwa thread for a surfeit of sizing advice). LNWOT, worn once to confirm fit - my other norwegian welters just don’t die so never had cause to wear yet. infamously OOP//RIP. $300 shipped to conus.

IRL tk - meantime the wayback machine yields:
