How does the Casentino fit? Trying to decide 38/40/42 as a 6’ 175lb person
I'll second this request...I seem to toggle between small and medium with Drake's...I have a small linen overcoat which is perfect, but the small cotton one is too tight in the shoulders and armholes are too high.

I took at 42 and I'm typically a 40 in Drake's (with the exception of some knitwear and jackets at 42). I had to try on the fleece to figure out the fit I liked though. You really have to lean into the slouchiness of it. The Casentino fleeces are honestly very strangely shaped as they are very wide in the body with wide flowy arms, but are short in the body and in arm length. When I tried the 40 which should have been my regular size it looked simultaneously too big and too small at the same time. When I sized up the slouchiness really worked.
Side note - I originally scoffed at the orange colour and was planning on buying the blue one, but the orange looked great in person and even my wife preferred it over the blue.

I prefer the PWVC x PS, having tried on both (and with the former purchased and on its way).

I’m all for a roomy fit in a A-line silhouette overcoat, but I just find that the Private White is more flattering in its drape while the Drake’s is billowy.

Since you've tried both can I ask how you sized them comparatively? I have the PWVC coat and have been eyeballing a Drakes Balmacaan for the last 2 years and would be interesting to know how the sizing lines up between them.

I am a 40 chest, 6’2 and wear the casentino fleece in 40. Really like how it fits

Thanks, really helpful! I don’t have any drakes tops - mind sharing height and weight?

Thanks! I’m a 39 chest and 6’ so perhaps the 40 will work after all. Might try a 42 just to see it per csm88s post. Fit pics would be incredibly helpful if anyone has some

All my Drake's blazer are 40.
I tried the sizes 42 and 40 and 40 was better.
The fit is really comfortable.
So, I will say TTS.

I'm 6', 175 pounds, 40 chest, 15.75 neck, 35 sleeve for shirts, and the 40 fits me perfectly. I usually wear a light flannel shirt or ocbd underneath. Here's a old pic:

Other than ties and squares, it's the only Drakes item I own. I think it's a really special piece. Very practical.

I much prefer the sizing of the PWVC; the Drake's style is just a bit too billowy.
