Yuck. Those prices ain't it. Didn't these archive sales used to go 50-70% off?

I’m my experience it depends on the material, the denim chore jackets are a bit smaller than than my navy heavy twill chorea question for those with the chore jackets. have you found the back length longer/shorter than the Drake's measurement chart?
Agreed! their prices are pretty deranged. Seemingly totally detached from the product they are selling and I assume in many cases from the spending power of the people who would want the products they sell. I can't imagine the type of people who'd spend £425 on a shirt wanting a stripey colourful rugby top, nor the type of people who want that top spending anywhere near that much on it.Yuck.
Total Emperor’s New Clothes vibes at Drakes for years now. Prices way too high for what is offered. Was in their NYC store a few months ago and left after a quick walkthrough.
The only Drakes stuff I still have is what they made for Barneys New York. Awesome scarves mostly.
From my experience it takes a lot of patience. Thanks for your answer. I just contacted Drake's and asked for replacement buttons in case it is necessary.
Let's see if they will send them though.
Best,
Nacho
hi all - does anyone here have the brown down corduroy vest currently on sale ? have never owned a quilted / down vest before and am curious how you have enjoyed / styled it.
I second this! Wore mine constantly last fall. The deep caramel colour goes with almost anything. I wore mine often over knitwear + scarf. Pairs particularly well with Drake’s mohair roll neck. If you do a quick browse through the forum images there’s some great fit pics from other members with the vest if you’re looking for inspiration.it is a somewhat bulky and thick vest. It is warm and I would describe this as a jacket replacement instead of a layering piece. I am usually a 40 in tailoring and a 38 in chore coats, and I took the 38 for this vest. The fit across the waist is unexpectedly snug for what is an otherwise large, bulky vest.
Styling it is easy. Mid blue and dark denim work well. Anything that pairs well with brown works (avoid black or other trousers in brown shades). Add a scarf and you are good to go.

The value proposition of the brand is very poor now and the quality, though in the very high end of lifestyle brands, is still far lower than luxury, or even just good quality tailoring. The price of their tailoring is genuinely insane given that it's a machine made half canvassed product, that isn't particularly noteworthy in it's style. Who is buying it?!
I think Drake's is expensive because they don't want or don't know how to manage operational costs. Brick & mortar stores cost a lot to maintain, same for the staff, etc.
Still I’d argue that their not a brand that should have a Savile row locationI think Drake's is expensive because they don't want or don't know how to manage operational costs. Brick & mortar stores cost a lot to maintain, same for the staff, etc.
The simple fact that they have several locations in expensive areas, staff, seem to travel a lot, etc. What makes you say that?
