Question for everyone: What’s the Drake’s piece you get the most compliments on?
For me, it’s the Ecru chore in heavy twill with the cord collar.

However, I picked up the suede A2 over the holidays and can only imagine that takes the top spot after winter. Every person I have showed the jacket to (or even a picture) has been super impressed.

I wear mine all the time (dark brown). I wear it a lot with the drakes / Aaron Levine black wash jeans and with all my trousers. I actually think it just barely touches “statement piece” in the sense I certainly get more comments / compliments compared to other articles of clothing but I still feel like it’s super versatile (during fall) and am always reaching for it. There is some color transfer on white/ecru pants to watch for as someone else noted.
How do you like the Aaron Levine jeans? I find that they ride up a little bit, but otherwise fit great and super versatile (been waiting forever for black Drake’s jeans)

Question for everyone: What’s the Drake’s piece you get the most compliments on? I think it would be cool to share our responses with pics. For me, it’s the camp liner jacket (in blue). Very underrated, imo.

It’s the olive corduroy Games blazer for me. Just casual enough that I get the “you look nice” compliments instead of the “are you going somewhere?” questions.

Here it is paired with the Drake’s quilted vest (to mixed results?) on NYE.

The bleach wash chore coat - compliments from women in their 20s to men in their 70s. My boss asked where he could get one.

Hi all - for those of you who live in colder climates what’s your go to outerwear? Was toying with going down with a Rocky Mountain Featherbed Christie jacket but am second guessing myself if it’s the right thing to spend a chunk of change on. For reference my normal go to is a few layers and my Chore or my barbour beaufort jacket. Thanks for your input!

If it's not colder than 0 degrees Celsius I will go with a wool coat or a wool chore and some lambswool knitwear. Otherwise I will have a down parka to keep me toasty.

I had an after work thing last Thursday, hitting golf balls from a driving range, with heaters and all. It was around 5 degrees Celsius. I wore a William Lockie roll neck and my Rocky Mountain Christie vest. Oh and my Drake’s scarf.. I was comfortably warm.

I would not hesitate to invest in good quality down coats. This winter my Woolrich Woolen Mills down parka (a special edition with leather) has been going strong for the 15th year in a row. And my Rocky Mountain Christie vest is now 4 years old and still looks like new. I paid 550 euro for mine (old pricing plus discount as a loyal customer, at a local shop).

I Mostly wear my drakes overcoat (dark gray donegal). If I need an extra layer I’ll wear a chore coat or RMFB vest underneath.

For the brutal winters in Montreal I have two Woolrich John Rich bros parkas that I’ve been wearing strong for almost a decade. Both have exteriors that are made with Loro piana storm system wool fabrics and are highly weather resistant. Sadly Woolrich discontinued this line a while back. I have an eBay alert for them because I find them to be fantastic. Highly recommend if you can get your hands on one.

Loved this all black:grey combo they posted on the weekly dispatch yesterday. Gives me an artsy/intellectual vibe actually. Would love to copy but wouldn‘t really fit the rest of my wardrobe and is also bloody expensive ha!
