I have not gone to the sale so I don’t know anything what’s in there. I found this off another place but thought rest of the class would like to see.

It's identical to the sale earlier this year, which is good. Another price hike would really be hard to stomach :/

I popped along with a friend. Couldn't really justify grabbing anything myself.

Less well stocked than the one in April, mostly the same stuff, a few larger discounts i think but may be wrong there.

Missed the above but there were a fair few bits of games tailoring summery stuff in 38-42. Friend grabbed a moleskine games jacket in 38.

By 9.45am supplies were already dwindling though tbh and unlike the last sale they said they wouldn't be adding new stuff day by day.

So a bit disappointing really

Drake's sale was horrendous today. Huge que but nothing desirable, loads of old tailoring, heavily branded items, odd coloured shirts. No decent outerwear or perennial items which is what I went for.

It’s wild to think that not more than a few years ago (2022) there was a selection of balmacaan coats as part of the archive sale.

Having not been to one before, i was actually quite impressed with the selection. It was hopelessly disorganised though, things strewn on the floor, and no changing rooms, so walking around blokes standing around in their underpants was a bit weird.
I picked up a lovely pair of tailored medium weight/rise trousers in navy flannel for £195 for the forthcoming cooler weather, which seem identical to those on the site currently at £495, so it was worth the visit for me. There were some Colour 8 cordovan Alden shoes and boots at a hefty discount (don't think i've ever seen Alden's on sale in the UK), which are very difficult to get hold of here even at full price, so it's worth a browse, if you have the time and can stand the slightly squalid conditions.

No loafers. A derby jumper boot with some brogueing and some apron toe lace up shoes (not NSTs unfortunately). Both quite nice.
There was a slightly unusual Edward Green chukka with a Dainite sole, and heaps of other Drake's branded chukka type things.

Does drakes selvedge denim shrink after wash? I just got a pair of selvedge in stonewash and wondering if they will go down in size.
