Yeah.... Big no for me. Being able to roll the sleeves up is one of the better features.
I dunno, I haven't had any trouble rolling the fatigue jacket sleeves up. Keep the cuff buttoned and they fit right into the roll. I'd imagine with the heavier fabrics of the chore, the potential to unroll is even less of an issue. If anything I find the chore sleeves a little trim, and I like the idea of a little more space to open things up in the sleeves - in theory! Helpful for, y'know, chores.

How long do we think it'll be to see the full lookbook up for sale - wool bals, long Coverall (oh, unless it's there in olive and nearly gone), etc?

There's been a slow trickle of stuff every day it seems. I think usually things drop as the season goes along? I've also noticed that not everything is in its full range of sizing (yet?), like the reversible beige/Harris Tweed mac coat which only has 38, 40, 42 for now.

As someone else pointed out, stuff does seem to be selling out fast (almost at the speed I'd expect the St. John's or other small-run, limited edition collabs to go), but maybe they're just not fully stocked up yet

Look book is crazy but the oxfords going up to 295 is actually crazy. I've been meaning to post that one of my shirts has fully frayed at the collar after several years of heavy wear, but now I have a relatively new one that's coming in the same spot.

The limited size runs on some of the items is weird. I have to think they're just not fully stocked yet — either that or it's a glitch in their site, which is buggy sometimes. As other have noted, items roll out slowly throughout the season, so I imagine the more wintry items like the raglan coats, etc. might not be available for sale for some time yet. On the plus side, the price of jackets for US customers is way down! Feels like 2022 all over again.

Re: the issue of rolling sleeves, I agree with others that it's not a big deal to roll the buttoned cuffs on the lighter weight jackets. I do it with the ripstop jungle jackets I have. I've also had the sleeves shortened on the first generation jungle jackets when necessary. I wore the chasseur jacket for a while last year with the sleeves rolled back once and kind of liked the casual feeling of that, along with the contrast of seeing the dark liner, although seeing the backside of the snap was a little messy. I eventually got the sleeves shortened. In general, I feel like a buttoned cuff is a nice detail on most outerwear.

Love a frayed collar! That's one of the best things about a well-loved oxford. Some of my oldest Drake's OCBD are fraying at the collar and cuffs...great for weekend wear.

We agree. Great for weekend wear but not ok for office wear. My director is out for the week so my well loved ice blue is making an appearance today.

Me buying a 1600 euro Profitec espresso machine: reads online reviews for 3 months, visits a few shops, ‘it’s so much money, let’s think about it again’, waits another few months because a new model might be coming out. Still using my 15 year old machine…

Me buying a 1900 euro reversible raglan coat by Drake’s: just woke up, lying in bed, ‘only three left, where is my credit card??’…. :D

Hopefully this one is thicker than the size 40 I bought early 2022 (for 1455 euro!).

In all the hubbub about the new fall lineup, I have a question about the smock shirts. Does anyone have experience with the sizing of the needlecord or denim smocks? There doesn’t seem to much about them in the thread. Based on Drake’s size chart I’m inclined to size up from my normal size in Drake’s other casual shirts. Thoughts from anyone who owns one or have tried them on would be appreciated!

Irish linen smock shirt. XL.

I am also XL in rugby shirts, sleeveless cardigan, and the slipovers, and a 54 in chores. No experience of Drake's shirts but hope this will suffice.

Thanks so much for the quick reply and awesome photo! The sizing and fit is extremely helpful as this is the fit I’m aiming for. Many thanks

I also have no experience with that item but I've asked them about suit jacket length, shirt sizing, and trouser inseam and each time I was ensured that the measurements listed on each size chart are accurate.
