These are pretty cool I think

I tried the first one but it's more of a 'wheat' colour that looked a bit old fashioned. I think the ones closer to White are better.

On the topic of Drake's MTM process.. what's it like for sport coats? Is there a lot more flexibility to alter the 'base pattern' than there is with OCBDs?

Anyone have any experience? How was it? What was the price like?

Can anyone tell me the weight of the linen Drake’s uses in their basic cutaway collar linen shirts, please? I was wondering how heavy this 200gsm / 6oz linen shirt from another brand is 🤔

Do you know if Drakes regularly restocks sizes from collaborations ? I noticed one of the new Saint John chores was no longer available in my size 3-4 days after the collection was released. Have any of you seen them restock sizes in the past ? Thanks !

Can recommend! I bought one of the cotton-linen fatigue jackets from the spring. A nice piece, and something I've gotten a lot of use out of this summer. Obviously a lot lighter weight than the standard chores, with a slightly different placket and collar construction, interior poacher pockets on both sides, and a buttoned sleeve cuff.

They appear to be based on the P41 USMC uniform from the Pacific theater in WWII. Drake's recommended keeping my chore sizing, but I wanted more drape and sleeve width. Measurements one size up were a close comparison with my standard size in the jungle jacket, so I went with that. A sleeper of the spring collection, I think, and something that I hope sticks around alongside the chores.
Thanks for the sizing advice. I went with my regular size for the St. John’s fatigue - primarily because the size up had already sold out. It fits well but I certainly could have sized up and had the sleeves shortened. The length of the St. John’s fatigue is a bit shorter than what’s listed in the size chart (at least mine was anyway). The linen is identical to the forestière - just inverse in colour. The linen fatigue is lighter than the standard linen chores I’ve felt and evidently much lighter than the canvas/cotton chores. It’s also light enough that I could easily layer it under my Barbour deep into the fall.

I share your hope that the fatigue sticks around alongside the standard chores and would like to see some new makeups in the following seasons. For me, the main downside of the fatigue compared to the chores are the button cuffs. For those with short arms like me, it almost certainly means a trip to the tailor. With the standard chores you can play around with sizing and simply roll the sleeves up. You can still roll up the sleeves on the fatigue but they unfold with the heft of the buttons during wear.

No, never. Last time, the St John corduroy chores sold out almost instantly, but they advertised them for weeks on instagram.

I agree with what WoO said above: I think these are by nature very limited production runs that are not restocked. They tend to only restock Perennials pieces, and even those can vary from year to year in terms of the fabric and color (cf. the green cotton herringbone jungle jacket, which was a noticeably more vivid green in 2023 than the more classic military olive released this year).

It's worth watching out for returns, though! I noticed the potter's vest was briefly available in my size again a few days ago but someone else snapped it up before I could make up my mind whether I wanted it. I'm sure that was a return.

You could also email or call up the store to see if they have any left in stock. I’ve bought a few out-of-stock-online items that way from the NYC store.

Recently picked up the coverall from the archive sale. Love the weight of the jacket. Just about covers my Games blazer, but is too short for my more tailored jackets unfortunately. Still a great jacket.

Looks great! I picked this jacket up as well. What size did you get? And did you size down from your normal jacket size?

Thanks! 42, same as my normal jacket size. I tried sizing down when I got the long version, but much preferred the look on normal size.

It does look great. I would really prefer my emerald green coverall to be this long... i guess it's just a couple of inches longer? makes all the difference.
