I recently purchased a couple of the corduroy games blazers during the archive sale. Do you handwash or dry clean these? How often would you wash yours? Once a season?

They’re supposed to be washable, but I was too afraid of shrinkage and fading so I dry-clean mine once a season, yes. Washing cold is probably fine but I didn’t want to risk it. (Mine is cotton twill, not corduroy.)

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I'll just go with dry cleaning. The games blazer fits nice and relaxed and the sleeves are the perfect length. The notion of washing the blazer just popped into my head on my way into the city as I broke a little sweat this morning and noticed the armpits on the blazer were slightly damp and realized that I'll probably have to wash it at some point.

looks like some spring stuff has been trickling in the last few days — feeling especially elated I was able to snag the green linen chore coat at the Music Room sale

I see a few nice items, like the ecru chore coat and the sleeveless jumpers, but overall the collection so far seems a bit underwhelming compared to the past two summer seasons. Still early days though..

I was recently given a Drake's cotton easyday suit, basically unworn, by a friend. I just had it altered, though the alteration shop I used made the pants way too long, so they're redoing that. But I love the unstructured, casual nature. I left the waist a little loose. They had to let the sleeves out by like 2 inches for me, and you can see a faint mark where they used to be, but that doesn't bother me.

I'm looking forward to throwing this on as often as possible to work on that broken-in feel Michael Hill said he loves so much.

those the wheat garment died denim mashburn jeans? How do they fit/feel? Thx
These are the 'natural' denim, non-selvedge, which have gone up by $25 since I bought them. These ones.

Fit is OK, not my favorite. A little too tapered below the knee for my taste, and the waist is weirdly loose. I had them bring the waistband in (not something you'd think could be done very easily on denim, but the result is cleanly done and where they cut it is nearly invisible), which gave them a couple pleats on the back yoke, above each pocket. On white jeans like this, it's no bother, but on dark denim I'd probably be annoyed.

But the fabric is superb and the details are great. These are a little too heavy to wear on hot, humid days, but the warm off-white color and weight make them wearable when it's cold without it feeling strange. So I have other lighter weight white jeans for the hotter months.

Side note- What's the tie rack/belt holder you have in the photo?

I've been looking for something similar. Thanks!
