I have the olive pair and it's very comfortable in this 90 degree weather where I live.

Cheers! What’s the fabric like, soft-ish or a bit rough? Have a pair from H&M which are the same blend and they have quite a rough, scratchy feel (get what you pay for, I know).

Everyone in this thread who’s into Uniqlo for basics should give Arket a look if they have a store near to you, has become my go to for good quality basics. Sale prices tend to be good as well.

@7_rocket i tried them on 30 minutes ago, sized down to a 31 from my usual 32-33 to get a tapered fit.

Here is another fit, much better. Inseam s little too long for me and not sure if I’d get them shortened.

Looks like Canada didn't get these yet. I went into two locations and additionally asked about short sleeve henleys. The CSR looked at me like I was from another planet.

Anyone owns a blocktech parka? I need it for heavy rain.

I just don't understand the reviews. Some say it's great for heavy rain, while another says it's not waterproof.

Some more Uniqlo U 2019 FW Preview photos from WWD Japan
Article also has photos on the rest of the Uniqlo 19FW collection

"The fall and winter of 2019-20 of UNIQLO reminds us of the essence of the simple beauty brand that produces functionality. It is composed of three themes: "Work & Craft" such as basic knitwear and denim, "Art & Design" reminiscent of Scandinavian design, and "The Outdoor" that can be worn in the city with calm colors. The whole design has been updated by dropping the design and smoky palette that has been well received in the past seasons with "UNIQLO U" by Christophe Lemaire."

The Fashion Snap article mentioned the U collection's theme for 19FW was inspired by Eric Rohmer's 1972 French film, "Love in the Afternoon", mix of vivid and smoky color palettes, and gingham patterns.

got my regular fit tapered jeans and the only good thing I can say is that the fabric seems good... nice weight. other than that the fit was a mess in a size 34, way baggier than the measurements online and with no taper from knee to hem.

The fabric is Kaihara Denim I believe... They worked really well for me but yeah they're probably not everyone's cup of tea.

even though my pair was marked 'regular - tapered' on the tag I think maybe they sent me the regular fit? the leg opening was almost 9"

Yeah it's possible... They changed the name of the model from "Regular Fit Jeans" to "Regular Fit Tapered Jeans" on the website between the time I ordered them and the time I got them. My paper tag that was attached to the waistband said Regular Fit but the sticker on the leg said Regular Fit Tapered. The pair of 32's I received had a 7.5" opening.

SOOOO Excited for these. The bottoms tend to sell out very fast here in LA though. I feel like they purposely don't send enough inventory for west coast stores.
