I have the gray pair and really like them. I would definitely say they're gray, though, not black. The navy ones look darker online, but I haven't seen them in person.

Thanks! yea looking forward to them. I ordered the S as they were the only size left, relying on the drawstring stretch lol

Got the work pants today. The fabric is decent, a soft cotton sateen and I like the off white color. I went for a size 34, which is down from a 36” I buy in most pants (35” natural waist) and the top block fits well. However the legs are massive! The pants are basically straight from the thigh down and then taper slightly at the mid shin.

I’m gonna try tailor them down to a normal loose fit, since they were decent otherwise.

Was torn with the work pants also, while I like the looseness of the men’s version, the women’s carpenter pants for me seemed a better alternative since it had a thicker fabric and I kind of like how it tapers (since it’s based on the curved pants, too).

For comparison:

Similar off-white tone, the mens is more grayish while the womens is on the pinkish side. The womens have triple stitch seams. I’m a 79 (31) in mens, the womens fit me in 73.

Also went back for other stuff on sale. The pieces grew on me and found that I use them so much in the really hot weather I’m in.

U Hunting Jacket (sized down one)
I find it pairs well with the linen pants in the same color, can work like a setup.

Gurkha shorts
Had reservations initially on the material but I find how I like the lightness and airiness. Still worried how it will age in the future... but will enjoy it for now.

All black U linen cotton combo
I got the brown jacket, but might get the black on further discount. I am enjoying the pants so much.

Got the relaxed pants in beige, still not on sale but I know I’ll use it a lot as much as the dark brown and orange. Really good one for me.

Has anyone ever machine washed the merino sweaters? Do they shrink at all? I have a couple that I'd actually like to shrink a little in length

Finally got the Classic Fit Selvedge Jeans. Fits more or less like the previous models, relaxed straight cut (maybe loose for some with slimmer legs) with a slightly higher rise. Someone may have posted before that the fabric is a bit thinner than the 2014 model, but still a good pair, with the the raw, stiff feeling. Glad they're back.

Got my eye on a pair of their high rised tapered pants in white. I love the new cut of their vintage chinos. I hope they make them this way for a long white.
