Uniqlo Is Adding Three More Pop-Up Shops on the West Side

They seem to be doing well. Maybe, just maybe we'll get them on the west coast in the next few years. They really ought to get rolling and figure out a strategy to compete with the mall brands west coast consumers are accustomed to. There's definitely a market out there, even if they raise prices.

I tend to ignore Uniqlo in S/S, but the Korean ones have the fall lineup in stores and I dropped by to check it out. It's actually fairly impressive. I know the J+ line got a lot of flak for stepping down in quality after the initial season and there's been some noise the main brand is going Walmart-ey as well, but everything I handled is as durable as anything I've felt from them at any other time. Inline stitching, smooth fabric, etc. YKK zippers all over the place.

Regarding Korean sizing, it's more about body type than weight. Sleeves will probably be your biggest bitching point. I bought 28 jeans and an XL sweater today, for instance, which felt several shades of odd but is par for the course here.

I have 3 barely worn FW 10 suits I would consider selling, but the jackets are size small. Pants are size 31 for anyone else that might be interested though.

I haven't tried them but I really like their website. Their wool blended sure is interesting. Are they in SF already?

Nah those with the selvedge pockets def aren't raw and are really thin.
They have two new pairs of mij this year which are twice the price, not sure if raw.

Also I picked up some new seasons oxfords, thicker than last year and sizes run a
    little larger.
