Never been to the Causeway Bay locations... I shop at like 5 different Uniqlos depending on where I am. I'll wait for +J to drop and if not I'll buy a Tasmanian Wool Suit.

anyone know what are the usual down fill in the +j puffer jacket?

I am debating between the new +j premium down park with penfield's stapleton for this winter.

Hells yes. Get the stuff labeled "Japan denim" (should say it's made in Japan on the tag) with a button fly. Best cheap jeans if you like raw denim, IMO.

I've handled the thinner, zip-fly made in China models, and they don't feel anywhere near as nice.

Is the Military Cotton Blouson in stock at Uniqlo NY? What colors? I need something like a 40" chest.. wondering if an XS would be too short.

I'm a 30 waist and I always get the small Heattech long johns. I'm about 5 ft 7 btw. The oxfords come only come in a regular fit and I'd recommend sizing down because they can fit quite big. I wear an XS in the oxford shirts.

how slim are the +J Wool Flannel Straight Trousers compared to the +J Wool Flannel Tapered Trousers? are the straight ones still fairly slim? the tapered ones seem to have a really small leg opening (less that 7").

here's the link to what i think are the tapered ones (not this year's, but i'm assuming that the new ones will be similar) -
    http://store.uniqlo.com/jp/CPaGoods/066662

the leg opening is between 16.5 and 18cm

looking for something slim, but not that skinny. does anyone know if the straight ones are still fairly slim?

Anyone know how much the japan raw denim stretches? I need a 30 for the waist to fit right on the straights, but the thighs really need to stretch a bit. Also, are the wool pants you guys are referring to the 80% wool/20% nylon fuzzy ones on the upper floor in the soho shop or something else? Tasmanian wool was pretty good for the money, but again slightly too tight in the thighs. They are killing me with phasing out the silky dry boxer briefs, those are my favorite!

If you're talking about the Military Stand Collar Blouson, I recently picked up a medium at the NY store (I'm a 42 chest). Good fit, good length. Maybe a tad snug at the underarms, but only barely. Overall a nice item.
