There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thoughts on the new knits? Some of the cardigans look good but are 60–70% synthetic. I may try one or two out. The lambswool cardigans, crew necks, and v-necks are up too.

Those knits look decent in person (especially cable shawl cardi) but feel like shit.

They're only like 40 though so not too much of a loss to try out, I guess. I'd rather just spend it on an EFM that I know is nice.

^ Good to know. I'll probably go elsewhere for heavier knits then. I have a few of the extra fine merinos and like them. I'll probably order some of the basic lambswool sweaters too; I'm hoping they're slightly thicker than the merinos.

I'd stay away from the blends, invest in higher quality knitwear if looking for something substantial

You know what really grinds my gear? That Uniqlo flannels are 4/5 the quality of BoO flannels and costs 1/7 the price. I've been a sucker, got damn.

    Uniqlo knits SUCK.

You can spend $40 and get a few WEARS before it starts to look like shit or spend like $200 and get a few YEARS of solid wear... and even when the more expensive sweater is full of holes it will probably look better than the uniqlo one.

I will likely never stop buying their oxford shirts though, they're great for the price.

i've tried a total of 6 shirts from uniqlo different seasons/years all in the same size which is my regular size extra small slim fit/regular fit. fit was always bad on me. i don't mind paying more for a shirt if i know the cut works better for me. right now the only things i own from unqilo is the ma-1 and heattech items. heattech longjohns and longsleeves are great for staying warm without bulking up on layers too much in the cold.

Feel you brother. It's an unfortunate fate if uniqlo shirting doesn't fit. The fit on the oxford is flawless on me. For most other cotton and flannel shirts I wish they were just a tad roomier. However, a recent EFC shirt fit me much better(although not perfect) than one from 1.5-2 years ago so they're still tweaking.

I'm starting to think the MA-1 isn't coming back in stock on the UK online store...

Anyone been to the store in London recently and know if they have any?

I have a cashmere sweater from APC that I paid $200 for like 10 years ago and it still looks great. It's been all over the world with me and I wear it on my bicycle commute to work every day that it's cold enough. Today, maybe you'll pay $300 for the same sweater, but it's totally worth it to me. Different strokes.

    WHAT THE?!?
