They have a couple of new t-shirts for men from the 10-Gruppen collab:

They seem to have a much better selection of items for women in this collab.

    Quick thoughts:

—Much better than I expected. Quality is surprisingly solid.
    —Definitely fall/winter only. They're substantial.
—7.5" leg opening on size 33.
—There's an extra 3.5" to let down in the inseam, in case you want to add cuffs or are a giant. There's also an extra 2" to let out in the waist.

    Recommended.

this continues to be the feedback and my experience on uniqlo...how are they able to sell shit for so cheap and still make money?

hand on the uniqlo cash vneck I got was similar to the ones I picked up from j crew on sale last winter (~$250 at retail, got for ~160). we'll see how it holds up, but $80 at retail is a no brainer, and similar for basics pretty much across the board

They don't really discount because their stuff isn't nearly as seasonal as, say, the Gap. Less overhead and way less inventory lost to dumb trends or bad design decisions that don't sell.

Also got the merino and it's pretty next level for $40. If it doesn't pile badly it's such a deal.

I'd like to think that Uniqlo has some social responsibility requirements for their manufacturing but I have no idea if they do.

This. They're much less seasonal/trend oriented than say H&M or Zara, and willing to let clothes sit on the shelves for much much longer.

It's also because they place huge orders with the producers so they have a lot of negotiating power.

Limited designs massive color choices to compensate, massive buying power equates low price

Quote:Most of its stuff is definitely worth the price point. I'm not too sure about the $29.99 poly/cotton constructed zip-up hoodie though. Would you guys consider any of its poly/cotton blends?

Just wondering, is it possible to return online items by shipping it yourself instead of using the $7 prepaid label?

i get the impression that once they get the return, you are refunded the cost of the item minus $7. you're paying a return fee, not a shipping cost. when it comes to exchanges they will waive the $7 fee, but it seems like you have to call them.

    True-to-size and very comfortably.
I also recommend the AIRism boxer briefs.

purple flannel and black camo flannel got here and uniqlo killed it again...both respectable quality, slim fit, but mostly TTS. sleeves are a little slimmer wrt body on each, and black camo flannel felt even slightly more fitted throughout, but was still a L.
