Is Uniqlo cheaper in stores than online? I went there this week and shirts that were $20 are $30 online

Can someone give me a measurement for the calf area for the slim fit jeans and slim fit chinos? I've got big calves and it gives me fits when i try to buy pants.

It's always something weekly. You can expect to see the linens, polos, etc rotating during the summer at least judging from last year.

I just received their regular fit OCBD and while it fits well in the shoulder and chest, there is too much excess fabric in the back, guts, and sleeves. Can someone tell me how much these shirts shrink when washed and put into the dryer?

i think regular fit was made with the intention you'd roll up the sleeves and tuck it in.

Hmm, what exactly is the difference between slim and regular fit? What makes slim suitable for wearing untucked versus the regular fit? The reason I ask is because in order to get a similar fit around the shoulders I would need to size up to medium in the slim fit, but the rest will be too big. And if I size down, the chest and shoulders will be less than ideal and maybe a tad tighter than I'd like. So it seems like I have to get the shirts tailored anyway and I'm trying to figure out which size would be the most suitable for tailoring.

Slim Small: Tight around shoulders, the rest good fit
Slim Medium: Great shoulders, but everything else too big
Regular Small: Great shoulders and chest, but the rest too big

I don't think that has to anything to do with the fit. Either shirt can be tucked in or worn untucked or have the sleeves rolled up or unrolled, you just have to have the right proportions for it.

Thanks for the replies. But before I decide whether to return the item or to take it to the tailor, can someone tell me what the shrinkage is like for OCBD's?

I machine dried mine and didn't shrink that much aside from sleeves

Tbh after tailor fees and what not you're probably better off going mtm with luxire or copping another brand like bb on sale

It'll shrink, but I wouldn't expect any miracles.

Can you give a measurement for the waist (at the second last button) on the Regular S? We seem to have the same problem, where a slim S is borderline in chest and the slim M is better, but big elsewhere. I was considering trying the Regular S.

Sorry for the dirty mirror selfie. Left my camera at work today. The small showed up today in the linen cotton jacket. Little tight in the shoulders and biceps but feels fine every where else. Still have to shorten the sleeves but they aren't nearly as long as the medium.

Now the question is, do I return the medium or the small?

I think the small looks a tad too small.
