also, fwiw, i could probably buy some real undercover shit but it never has fit me right. uniqlo is a good alternative that gets at the aesthetic (although more boringly than mainline) with a fit that works for white people.

Personally, buying the hidden placket oxfords would be buying cheap shit because it's cheap. Don't like the pocket on it and buying would be settling.

Eh as I said man (like three times now) if you like it then go for gold, but I think most people are just kopping because its cheap (first sale BOOM everyone orders)

Also, be honest, you wouldnt have bought it unless on sale, otherwise why wait? Its been out for awhile lol

IDC anymore, this is practically the 'New J Crew Thread' IMHO

Nah man, Its people who have gone nuts over this stuff because its on sale.

I dont really care if people are cheap, there is good cheap and bad cheap as Fuuma has said.

UU seems really really really sterile to me, I dont feel anything when I look at it lol, the original marketing campaign probably didnt help (the whole family thing was the worst)

Its pretty easy to do good cheap, with Uniqlo (Hate UU, Love Uniqlo) and CoS ATM, also B&S (SuFu / SZ / SF) is a goldmine of easy kops. Also people just kop a mountain of clothes, honestly your better off having less then more. Some really really nice wardrobes Ive seen have been nice pieces picked out and worked together, not necessarily large wardrobes though just well curated.

Also I need to clarify, I hate UU, I love Uniqlo. The mainline stuff is as good as ever (I will probably buy like 4 pairs of jeans when I go to UK on my honeymoon, also will get a bunch of the oxfords too)

Linen shirts, worth it? Any noticeable difference between the regular ones and the slim-fit with hidden placket? (Except for the fact that it is slim-fit and has a hidden placket...[IMG])

    Any fit-pics or close-ups?

I said since UU launch that I was interested in the athletics and I would make some purchases on sale. I like all the items I got, the easy jacket arm pits need to be taken up a bit and I should have gotten a small in the cropped pants.

Side note - Razele, i'd love to get tips on how to make my wardrobe smaller for someone who hasn't necessarily found a style yet. It kinda sucks just blowing money on clothing I like cause i kind of like everything to be honest (as well as stuff i later find does not really work for me - or the whole wardrobe as a whole) -- and am stuck in the game there i buy shit and then put it on B&S to fund other shit.

ahh figures, but i just wish there was a shortcut for finding out a particular style that works for me or that I like enough not to want to dwell into another style. Basically I want to be gdl except i am broke...
