There are companie that will do an invisible repair (essentially they re-weave it using threads taken from a seam) but it will probably cost you as much as the blazer. Sorry...

Anyone handle the LS linen shirts yet? Spring is around the corner and I'm looking to stock up on some button-front shirts with lighter fabric and these look good. The sizing chart on the UK site suggests that they run big in the chest area. Can anyone confirm that?

What are you looking for details on? Fit? Material?

I saw them at my local store last weekend. The only thing I remember is that the colors were bolder than they looked on the site.

Mostly fit. Do they run as big as the UK site's measurements suggest?

How's the material? The close up shot on Japan's site looks decent, but I remember last season's shirts wrinkling a lot even for linen.

You aren't thinking of the crinkled linen shirts, are you? I had a regular linen shirt from 2010 that didn't wrinkle easily. It did have a stupidly high bottom button, though, which kept me from wearing it but a handful of times.

You are probably right. I just remember they were "premium linen", came in similar colours as the linen shirts this season, and I hated how wrinkled they were.

These were the best tee's ever. LOVE supima. I figured they would either raise the price this year, or reduce quality. Looks like they went with the latter unfortunately. Supima tees are $50+ at bloomingdales...

I bought several extra fine cotton shirts from this season, not the linen blends, but they have the same measurements on the uniqlo site and I believe they are correct. I think you'd be a medium, I took a medium and it's slim but fine. The efc's are very lightweight too and feel very nice, especially the solid blue and white.

Got some +J shit for sale (trousers and down wool parka).

According to some employee they're finally clearing the remaing +J stuff this week, although they've been saying that for some time.

The 5 ave store has plenty of duffles, white shirts and pea coats. (larger sizes) while the 34th store has a good selection of down parkas (non-wool), knits, and double breasted coats. Must say uniqlo is going to lose much of its appeal without +J shit. Most of the mainline shit is kinda cheap. With that being said, still a great bang for the buck especially compared to other mall shit -- Jcrew, Zara, LEC, CM, etc, as those stores just huckster their clientle.

Oh yeah Uniqlo got some new shit in? polyester bomber, old cotton blouson that people liked (old stock at 5 ave store) and some cotton parka that is really thin. Must say I really liked the single breasted cotton coat-- good fit.

no ... from what I saw xs and small shit was hard to come by. Maybe an XS in the down parka which I really really really liked. I should mention that even though the measurements indicated on the outerwear suggest that their garments are oversized this year, I find the down coats run fairly slim due to the contour of clothing.
