There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Saw the spring/summer UIP collection the other day. I really like the blocktech jacket and track jacket as casual pieces. Part of me wants to wait until UxU hits so I can make a better decision, though. Around when will that be coming out?

Someone said it will coincide with another store opening in Japan, sometime in March I think. Shouldn't the first pics be released soon?

Thanks, dude. The medium measurements look perfect but the shoulders are really tight. Shoulder measurements look perfect on the large, but everything else slightly large. I should opt with what works in the shoulders, right?

no, i don't know my uniqlo pants size :(

i was debating whether i should be lazy and gamble with suddenlee or plan a day-trip to nyc some weekend.

from what you wrote, i am guessing that the MIJ jeans don't stretch much with wear? and that you should buy what fits comfortably in-store?

For what, outerwear? I do, but it's up to you. Try a couple of your favorites on in the mirror and see how they fit.

A little room is good if you plan to layer at all, too.

They stretch just a little and don't shrink much either, so yes. I bought my first pair (31) thinking they would shrink after the initial hot soak. They didn't, so I sized down to 30. I have been wearing them without a soak for four months now. I'll try to post a pic later.
When'd you buy them? Do they have a button fly or zip?

Interesting. A little more casual and trendy than +J, but I like what I see so far. Think I'll pick up the UIP blocktech jacket in dark grey the next time I'm there, and hold off on the track jacket in white until I see more of UU.

I really want to see what he has in store for fall/winter now.

can't tell much from that except that they're going to be selling capri pants and a leather, which are both probably bad ideas. Oh and a hoody, yawn.

I love the ambiguously asian wife and kids and the super white dad. They could have tried a little harder to make the father actually look like the children.

haha, was just about to comment on that. definitely a message there

still too little to judge UxU imo. i'm in the market for a more formal spring jacket, so hopefully not all their stuff is so casual

I never liked the awkward proportion of Whiteness/Japanese-ness of hapa kids in Japan. They become gorgeous when they grow up tho.
ps. the Mom looks extra Asian in the theatre scene

    ps.

the most expensive product is 7990 yen. That's not good. Was looking to some good quality outerwear...

They are the zip fly UJ version. It is selvedge but seems to be uniqlo's lower line. From what Ive read, MIJ and the red tabs fade much better.

The thing is that these do bleed on my shoes and stuff. Ive worn them for about a half year and there is next to no fade. Thinking of getting a pair of APCs.

here are my uniqlo s003 ive been wearing for the last 3 years, ~30+ months or so. 2-3 accidental washes in the first month because i had no idea what raw denim was LOL and was wondering why they were so stiff. i guess that kinda screwed the rigidity a little but they still have combs and whiskers

the pocket fades are kinda messed cuz when i stand i shift the phone/wallet towards my crotch and when i sit i shift it out so its not in the way
