Couple of early U things appeared on the website (more 70% poly sweats unfortunately). One image however does show a model wearing some pleated cords with a belt closure (Gramicci style?). Could be interesting.

That looks pretty cool. I'm bummed that their pants are always too short for me.

Yes, some nice stuff. But yet again quite a lot poly and acrylic. Why they're doing an AIRism sweat for winter is beyond me. The cords and utility shirt look interesting. The women's half-zip blouson, too. Wish the volume parka was actually down filled.

What are you all buying from the latest Uniqlo U drop?

I’m only considering the men lambs wool knitted jacket in green and brown. Maybe the women zip-up in brown depending on how it fits.

I went in store to check out the collection. The lambswool knitted jacket draped nicely and looked good, but I couldn't get over the itchiness. The only thing I picked up was the new crossbody sling (leaving for a Euro trip in a few days and figured it was perfect to carry around). It's light and has a good amount of space.

Same here, I was planning on buying it. But couldn’t get over the itchiness and bulkiness. Was expecting something dressier as a sweater jacket.

Very impressed with the quality of the lambswool knit jacket :)

Workwear inspired design by Lemaire, 100% high twist lambswool, solid knit construction - what more can one ask for at this price point?

Love the saddle shoulders which has a broadening effect on many body builds, chest pockets and the relaxed silhouette. "Itchiness" is not an issue as it's going to be layered on top of a cotton long sleeve.

This kind of simple yet effective design is rarely - if ever - made by high end makers like William Lockie, who would easily charge 10x the price for the same fabrication.

Pretty much a solid collection for me, but as "advanced users" of the U line, maybe there's no need for us to get much since most of the pieces are updates of seasonal staples. I just wish there was mustard or olive in the mens side as it's mostly grays, browns and blacks.

The ones I got were the Drape shirt in the nice chocolate brown color, pretty substantial fabric. The W's Band Collar shirt also was supple but recommend to size up 1-2 for relaxed fit. The W's Drape Jogger Pants are also quite a winner.

I also liked the Lambswool Knit Jacket, but I have the Lemaire version of this already (but the brown looks nice, I might consider on sale).

Whoa - care to share a photo? Curious to see what it looks like. Also 100% wool? :)
It was from 19FW, Black Knitted military shirt in pure new wool (I think they made several versions/colors of this a few seasons later).

Did you stay true to size for this one?
