I only use black, no matter how clean you are, and how many times you shower, you don't want ... well, If you ever sleep with women(or men or what ever haha) ...

I've just ordered 10 par of this (claudio) (I'm on a seriou's budget) the other day, so have to see how the match the brands I have tried otherwise:

I have found that some of the big produceres, also makes very simular boxers under other brands, who should be in close:
Etc. Olympia Marathon is owned by JBS(one of the best boxer brands in denmark I think) but sold in several supermarkeds.
Of course the nametag sucks, but the quality is very simular.

Claudio is new for me, got a very good offer on those ... so now I'm going to give them a shoot :)

Sry if I wrote it to unclear Hampton:

The Claudio brand is not one like the ones I mentioed such as Marathon(there is more than a few of those brands), - Claudio is not a special or even very known brand, but I have read that what they they do, they do really well, and that they sit very comfortably(hence I desided to give them a shoot). The place I bought them (where they also sell all the expensive brands) writes that they are really a good brand but a brand that is overlooked, hence the cheep price, and that they will try to change that becourse they like the brand ... Well I will let you guys know when I get them...

I plan on using them for regular use, and if I like them I will buy 10 pairs more ...then I'm buying some more expensive ones also that I use less frequent(like when I know I will end up in bed with some women... wisit the gf ... is on a date ... or something like that) ... the regualar has to be good enough for when it happens unexpected: the last semi expensive ones I bought(still only 2/3 or less the price of the other brands) where 2117 of Sweden trunks (I bought 2 pairs), they are awsome though.:
My economy is not really for Björn Borg, JBS, Ralph Lauren(I live anything Ralp Lauren normally though), Calvin Klein, or so on right now...

Aha, I laughed little about the gf comment but hey you are right! They look little more sporty in a way. But how much do a pair cost then?

Hmm .. hard for me to transfer cost since I live in denmark, and it's bought in a danish store(actually a bit stupid, I need to find a good online UK place to shop online :) :

But to compare they sell 2 pairs of Björn Borg for 349,75 DKK, and I got 2 pairs of Claudio for 59,75 DKK, the 2117 of Sweden trunks where 100 DKK for one pair, so that 's 200 DKK for 2 pairs, all under the same sale campaign...

Right now I think 100 DDK is like 16,46 USD, but I think things are allot more expensive here in Denmark, with all the taxes and such.

Hmm so they are not that cheap actually. Well we will see how they turn out, only model in those kind of boxers I have in is CK and RL, otherwise I use boxer shorts often by Sunspel.

I like boxers for sleeping, and walking around at home alone drinking bear and scratching my tummy (it's nice because you get's some ventilation) ... but it's to much fabric for me when wearing pants...

I used boxers for a period, but I didn't really like the feel (for sure better than tango's though [IMG] )

I don't really know Sunspel that well, but it's my understanding that they are the classic? and about as great as they come? (perhaps I should try a pair)... if so you would properly not be happy for the brands I use, neither would you have to use such - my budget demands that I compromise ... so I would suggest you go for the best, but I would still recommend that you try out a pair of "trunks"/"tights" just to see if you like it better - I for sure do. :)

Anyways. You properly know allot more about fashion and style than i do ... but no matter what my best advice would be to go for black instead of matching (due to the thing I mentioned in the last post), - no matter how many times a day you shower, and how clean you are, if you are unlucky no matter how much they match, it will not look great with even a hint of brown, sweet or so in them...

I lean on RLPL, Polo 'Luxury' and Brioni. I hate cheap underwear, they itch.

Well that's a comfor thing. Not many like it and I switch a lot depend on how I feel or what I wear, with suits I must use boxer shorts. With jeans I normally use normal ones.
Don't know so much about these kind of boxers out of my price range, any good? (of what you are paying I guess so [IMG]) Well you can get cheap underwear for sale that have great quality, it's not always about the price.

They're significantly nicer than the oxford cloth boxers I'm phasing out. MOP buttons on the RLPL and Brioni and the Luxury Polo are out of production. They were easily the best price to quality ratio of the group, about $50/pr, the elastic is covered by fabric, they button at the waist, and are made of fantastic fabrics. Brioni & RLPL are about 3x that much, but are a bit nicer in terms of fabric, construction and the Mop buttons are nice....they're also made in Italy.

Wow, they sound really great. I have few other items from RLPL and Brioni but never set my mind on their underwear.

I like Sunspel boxers. No seam in the back to ride up your butt and they last forever. The sale on their website ends tonight.

I was under the impression they still make most of their stuff in the UK. I'll have to check labels when I get home. Anyway, quality of the ones I just bought seems the same.

I wore oc boxers for years then shifted to lands end boxer briefs which are very comfortable but after 2-3 years are getting raggedy. I'll buy some this year, probably stick with boxer briefs but may shift to Duluth trading co, more expensive but possibly more durable
