1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    That's a bargain if you ask me. I was in Hermes a few days ago and they have some silk shirts priced at $2,750.

    Be that as it may, I was under the impression that the purpose of this particular thread was to trade/sell/buy discounted thrift finds, not near NWT priced gear.

    Also, I don't want to step on any toes, but I saw some at Neiman Marcus Last Call on a discount similar to what that fellow offered us, possibly cheaper ($600 range) if I recall. B&S? New thread? I don't think this one is appropriate for that post. I hope if he gets the $875 he lets us know so I can pop up to last call and buy all the Brioni silk shirts...

    Light brown Aquascutum trousers, measure to 40-42 waist. I won't say they are NWOT, but they haven't been worn much. No stains, no wear that I could find. You can see that they were let out maybe an inch or so - it might be apparent in one of the closeups.
    Sorry for the crappy picture quality

    Anybody want to trade for these? The good folks @ Ask Any tell me they are Bostonians. Back when Bostonian used to make a fine shoe. Built like tanks. I think size is 10E, although the E looks like 2 inverted C's on top of each other:

    Gauging interest:

    I have and am losing weight - I am looking to trade 5 2 pair of 38/32, w/cuff, trousers for some amount of trousers in a 36 waist that could be tailored to 32 with a cuff.

    Nothing stunning, or even terribly nice here, but they all wear:

    TRADED Odd but subtle organic pattern, Ballin (works out to a tan/taupe)(ca. 2000);
    TRADED Charcoal Flannel, RL Blue label (probably the nicest of the bunch);
    Still Available Tan, Gab, MW brand;
    Still Available Olive pinstripe, MW brand;
    TRADED Khaki/Black/Olive, Glen Plaid, Brooks Stretch

    I will not be selling anything obtained in this transaction - I will be wearing them M-F - but I don't care what you do with the pants you would be getting (not that any of them have a real great ebay value).

    Let me know.

    Everett

    edit: if you have a possible offer, I can measure, or even take pictures of any and all pants.

    I have these Allen Edmonds Grayson tassel loafers. Black Shell Cordovan - very good except for a couple of scratches (doesn't look like the surface was actually broken) and the fact that the soles will need replacement soon. Still, gorgeous shell, and after a trip to B. Nelson or whichever cobbler you trust, they'll be ready for another lifetime.

    Here are a couple of pics, and a link to a photobucket slideshow.

    For trades - my sizes are in my sig - I'm interested in brown shoes, but would consider almost anything.
    For sale, how about 130 shipped CONUS. International can be 120 plus shipping, but particularly for international, I prefer that you be an established forum member.

    A little like a 14/28 except chest is generous so not a kid's item.

    Neck: 14
    Sh: 17
    Arms from shoulder 19.5
    P to p 21
