Hi,

i was recently in Budapest and bought vass boots. They added a rubber sole and sent them to me afterwards. When they arrived they had each a scratch on each top.

So my question: Can you remove those scratches or whatever it is easily? I tried to stay away from it in case i would make it worse.
I tried to email them but no reply so far at "sales at vass-shoes dot com"
I called them and they told me to send another mail to "vass at vass-shoes dot hu" but still no reply.
Has some on another mail for me?

Greets
Does not look like a scratch in the leather itself, but burnishing that have been nicked a bit. Could happen under transport, if the box have been handled be a gorilla. Just needs to be polished up again.

Hi,

thanks for your opinion.

Has anyone had email contact with vass and can confirm the second mail? I will probably call them again, though i fear that they won't pronounce it different/more clear this time :/

This might have come up before-- but has anyone compared R directly to P2 (or F, if in the other direction)? Interested in length and instep. Basically, if you fit one perfectly, what does the other feel/look like?
(Should spend a day in Budapest on my way to Warsaw, to clear this up...)

I need a return trip also. I was there two years ago but the shoe stores were closed. Beautiful city.

r last is a delight, really stands out (even when sandwiched between the sexy f). for anyone who finds the f last too restrictive, give the r last a try its more generous everywhere especially in the instep
@NAMOR: as someone who's lived a lot with all of these--- is the R the same length as P2, and maybe a little trimmer? There are inconsistent comments on those two.

Just a gentle reminder that these are available since its boot season...
