Hi everyone! I'm new to Vass and would like to ask for some help. Does Vass do a buckle style chukka boot? Would anyone here have photos of that make up? Thank you!

Not sure if I posted this before, but here's the Austerities in their maiden voyage.

what do you mean by "buckle style chukka boot"? Here is an example of a double monk boots by Vass.

If you're looking for Jodhpur boots or single strap chukka, I've not seen any examples from Vass, but you could ask them. If they don't, a good comparable alternative that does do those styles is Enzo Bonafe

My poor Vass will complain about me to HR, after I abused them by not checking the weather forecast. (and if you ever doubted the benefits of polishing your shoes, here is some evidence for it).

Does anyone here own a Vass Norweger in P2 last? Would really appreciate a photo of you wearing it! Super interested in buying a pair in antique cognac scotch grain

For @kg13, a trio of P2. Norweger in scotchgrain, Norweger in suede, and the Theresianer in calf just to add a little balance.

A not Vass specific question here but related to my shoes.
Is a 24,5 cm instep a low instep for a 42 foot?

Alright guys. Since my wardrobe has been gravidating towards another direction, I'm getting rid of my U-lasted shoes. Hopefully they'll fund some F-lasted shoes in the future/

dear all,

Herewith a few 'action' shots of my Vass Budapest Oxford in three museum calf variants (gold, walnut, dark brown) on the (in)famous U-last (I note the trousers a bit off, apologies for that).
Recap on sizing etc: my usual shoe size is EU42/UK8, for some brand 1/2 down. For the U-last I had considered sizing up (42.5), but based on some online reviews decided to go with my 'normal' size -- so no sizing up here for me. First there were some regrets, as the fit on my right foot was really tight and painful (left foot was good). Using a bit of Saphir's shoe-eze helped to solve the right problem (I don't know what nasty chemicals are in shoe-eze, but it works) and can wear these beauties all day now.

Clearly the right foot has more volume -- I hope that the largish 'V' will settle after a while

Nice profile and showing the three colours very well.

Thanks for looking!
