Antique cognac calf would be my guess (here is an example: https://vass-shoes.com/shop/alt-english-ii-k-2/). But nothing will ever come close to Vass' gold museum calf. It is the most beautiful leather color I have ever seen.

For the community: if you are looking for something conservative but unique, you can't go wrong with their blue museum calf. Indoors blue museum calf shoes look almost like black; outdoors they reveal all their suble character.

This has to be their best deal yet.

Any style, any size is right around 400 euros including trees, taps, and shipping.

They have an option to increase width but my guess is they will do other adjustments for the same price.

Does anyone have any information if the V gap on Vass shoes is solvable with added insoles that make instep higher if I have flat feet and a wider toe area? I have mtm Vass shoes, but still the same issue with added arch support.

Bummer. Even if you skip the toe plates, looks like two pairs along with shoe trees will cross that threshold.

I’d just work out what you think I’d get popped with on duties/handling and see if it’s worth the free shipping. Ballpark 10ish% I can’t remember what shipping was - like $50? Probably not a huge difference between the duties and shipping on 2 pairs.

Would you guys recommend sizing up a 1/2 size from the f last to the U, K and S lasts? Would a 44.5 f last be equal to a 44.5 u, k, or s last?
