I own pairs of the following brands: allen edmonds, loake, and spier & mackay. I have fit comfortably into 8.5 D, us sizing, with all three brands. My feet are slightly narrow, but not to the point where I would have to size down to a C width. Would the Italian Oxford, in the u last, size 41.5 fit me properly? Really appreciate your help gentlemen.
Bump. Gentlemen, I would greatly appreciate your help.

I usually wear UK7. EU 41 on the F last. For the U I went 41.5.

Hello!

Need sizing help

Interested in Slipper I on F last
Some say it runs large

I’m 8,5 in both Rain and Forest on Carmina and 42,5 on Vass Norweger on P, but it feels roomy

What size do you guys recommend me for Slipper I?

What do you guys think about the overall quality of Vass's suede? My impression via pictures is that it is probably pretty high quality as well as very supple, but as we all know impressions over the internet can be deceiving. Secondly, how much do you guys expect that a wingtip oxford might crease over time at the point where the shoe breaks, I mean where the wingtip usually ends in the midsection? Does this brogueing pattern offer more stability for the midsection of the foot?
I am asking because I am considering having these re-made by Vass, since No Man Walks Alone in NYC (where these are available) does not have them in my size anymore, which is a 45 EU/12 US. I'd appreciate any insights!

I generally find Vass' shoes to have only moderate creasing and I would imagine a brogue pair to be even less affected.

I only got one pair of suede shoes from Vass but I've been very impressed so far (also compared to C&J handgrade level).

Thanks, I appreciate the insight! The creasing image in my mind was actually a Crockett & Jones Pembroke which might crease in the mid section. Since this is sort of "double" brogued, meaning a separate wingtip and also the side brogueing next to or under the laces, this pattern/model from NMWA seems a bit more sturdy and I figure it'll hold up. Just wanted to make sure! Thanks again!

I've got two brogues from Vass and both have very limited creasing. I'd suppose it's connected to the leather quality, but, equally important, would be the individual fit.

Looking for size advice: I am between a 8 and a 8,5 UK in F last on a loafer. Should I go with the 8 since a loafer is probably better fit a little snug?

I suppose the shoes will give a little in width with wear.

These look great.

I have to say though, given how lovely the walnut museum is I always feel a bit sad when people order a different color.

Also curious to know if Vass uses celastic for toes and heels. I would assume the heels are leather but I'm not actually sure.
