Vass Old English II, F last in a brown suede. Whenever I hold a pair of Vass, I feel like they're indistructable. There's a certain heft to them, the lasted shoe trees are very solidly made. Only thing I hate is the shoe laces they come with, which I swapped out for a pair of flat laces. The colour came out as a loden in the third picture but first two are most accurate.

Can someone explain the main difference between ordering Vass shoes through Ascot shoes and ordering Vass shoes directly from Vass?

Lower risk of Vass charm with a third party, but as noted, you're paying double.
