Ha! thanks SOS but it's just the reflection from a bright green shopping bag nearby out of shot. the shell I have seems to be getting shinier with age - or maybe it's because I've switched to Saphir

Whoa! Was just wondering how Vass black cordovan looks and this answers my question nicely! How long have you had these and how many wears have you put into them? Keep up the great photos!

in my pow, all three are unique and a good match for the 3636.

on a random note: my measured size is a EU 43, though i preferably have my shoes made with additional allowance. so they are more like 44.5/45.

ps: i dunno if vienna is on your schedule soon. let me know, when you're in the neck of my woods. i "use" binge&medtech as a reference.

the style has a nice balance in the mid sizes at least - more of same style in boxcalf here: http://www.styleforum.net/g/showphoto.php/photo/1466

thanx Slew- and there are some more Vass cordovans in VonRothbart's image gallery here: http://www.styleforum.net/g/showphoto.php/photo/1195 A lot of wear in six months I am Mr Magoo to shoes. Cordovan seems to improve with age, and the cordo in these Vass is thicker/stiffer than on a pair of C&J Onslows I have, tho it could be the lining
