There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Very nice indeed! Congrats!

Deets? Are those in antique cognac? K last?

In other news. The guys at Ascot really do suck at taking pictures of shoes. How hard is it to take a picture where the proportions aren't distorted by the lens and/or the position of the shoe?? I mean, just take the pics straight from the side, above, front and behind ffs.

I must say I really like this design. It's rather unique; the seam along the quarters looks like a cross between a balmoral seam and a swan neck seam. And IMO, balances really well with austerity wingtips.

I wonder what the origin of calling it "river" is.

    Gorgeous shoes btw.

So my beautiful shoes are here.
    F last
    antic cognac cordovan
    double leather with goyser

The F last normal width is a bit wide for my feet and therefore I asked Kuti to make less wide, however these appear to be the normal width again. so I have to decide if I keep them or return since the laces close completely.
    a bit disappointing this issue.

Congrats, I say keep it if fit is good, I am assuming you take 42.5? And what is wrong with lace closing just wondering.

    thanks man,

actually is weird since these are 42 and F (normal width by Vass) and I take normaly
    8.5E on EG 82 & 606 & 202 (oxford)
    8.5D on EG 202
    9D on aberdeen
8.5E Carmina forest, roebrt and uetam

I think eventually a 42.75 in E (smaller width) would turn out to be better fit).
    insole is an option too.

closed lacing in derbys from the first use may not be the best looking I would say.

Is it possible that they did make them slightly narrower but that the tendency for Cordovan shoes to run a bit big due to lasting limitations made them fit like a normal calf F last?

You are exact same size as me but I also take 8.5 on carmina forest 9Uk was little big & only 42.5EU F last I have is for vass shell boot. I did Wonder if I can take 42 on F last for shoes. And got yea that makes sense personal preference.

I think it's safe to say he means he can't tighten the laces anymore since the laces are fully closed, and the shoes are too loose.

Ok that makes sense what do,you take for, your G&G size? If you don't mind me asking you that. I will have to give EU 42 on F last a try.

when the laces are fully closed the shoes do fell tight. It has more to with:
    - aesthetics, although I am not sure about if I dislike them being fully closed on derby (on the opposite I am sure I like them fully closed on Oxfords)
    - fit: if the shoes become more loose in the future after beak in , if they will become too loose and with no chance left to thightning

    E uma lastima cezinho.

May be its Vassway again. I own 2 pairs on F last 42.5 size and narrow E width. Both are shell and they were quite tight (compare to F standard width). I am pretty sure those of yours will strech quite well with time and wear. If shell shoes are not snug enought at first wear, you will need to use really thick shocks.

    Return them if possible.
