1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Had a nice visit the store today. Rezső was very helpfull and ran up and down (and around and around) to find stuff that I wanted to see and try for reference. Mr. Vass was there too, but alas he was busy with another costumer, so I didn't have the chance to say hi.
Needed small corrections to the heel to narrow it just a bit - so proved the right choice to wait with my orders until I could try the lasts and compare.

Ordered a theresianer boot in black grain on vibram. I think it will come out as an absolute killer winter boot!
Also booked two orders more - a black chukka and a OEII in dark brown suede. We agreed that I would recieve the first order and start using that, before moving forward with the next two.
...so I'm looking forward to that :)

Looks great I love it, good design. Lots of stuff going on but doesn't look or feel overdone. I also like that the shaft dip (}) isn't as low as on my valways; similar to the shoegazing Valway.

During the past 6 months, I've enjoyed the makeups in this thread tremendously. Really inspiring too

I would sign on for that boot in a heart beat especially if the bottom quarters were antique cognac cordovan.

It's time for an intervention here, my friend. You've got more than enough shell. Vass calf is really awesome. Try it! ;)

    The first one was free.

I only do it on the weekends.

    Just say no.

Does Mr. Vass require the same widths for the entire order?

All kidding aside, are you really telling me that you can't appreciate the look and feel of a fine calfskin shoe? Or grain and suede for that matter? Isn't it nice to change things up sometimes?

Just curious. I love cordovan, but not any more than other leathers.

    Yes Sir,

I enjoy calfskin...I just don't own any at the moment...other than maybe a pair of work boots....

I was thinking that the uppers were to be the grain pictured above, so, there is some non-shell.

I need to get me some suede and CXL for sure.

Iirc, no, different widths were allowed.
@mimo can you weigh in on this?

I would add that Vass Gmto's rarely get off the ground cos they have so many variables on offer that everyone ends up wanting something different
