referring to the still pics, there's a big improvement when worn.

i also can see the steel eyelets work on them, which is normally not the case for me.

looking forward to the "regular" boots...

I'm talking about this height as "regular". It's higher than the oxblood ankle boots but lower than what alliswell posted above

Could someone help me determining wich last the boots I posted on page 84 are built on?

I contacted Eva Vass and she said it is normal there isn't any writing on the inside of the boots. They only started writing the size and last number in their shoes a couple of years ago. I emailed a picture to her so she could help me with the last, bit she hasn't responded yet.

I guess it is the 3636 last.. the F last looks so similar though

    Thanks,
    Tom

    yes it nlooks like 3636

Question for all the Vass experts: I have a high instep and a wide forefoot. G&G MH71 last in 11F is a perfect fit. Santoni FAMs and Tramezzas work well, but C&J 337 is just a bit too narrow, the instep not quite roomy enough. Will any of the Vass lasts work for me? I thought maybe an F or New Peter but then I read that the insteps were lower. Can one order different widths from Vass?

Received this yesterday from margoandralph.com. The U-last is really gorgeous. I wear size 8.5UK in C&J 337. U-last in size 43 fits me well. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Thanks. I realized though after a while that the U last is really pointy compared to the c&j 337. Next time I'll go for the F last.
