1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

What extra options can you get when ordering direct from Vass?

Thinking of items such as sole options, type of toe taps, burnishing etc.

    Sole options here: http://vass-shoes.com/en/howtoorder#text-5
Plus I know they can do metal or rubber toe taps, extra nails at the toe etc...

Finally I kept 4 pairs of 3 pieces shoe trees (I had allready 2 existing pairs). Next coming year I am force to buy 2 more pairs of shoes to insert all the trees left...so your beautiful DM in Oxblood and a great pair of Vassways boots in tobacco suede will be in!! [IMG]

My only pair of Vass. Budapester last with double leather sole. Leather is green museum calf. Pretty dark shade, could almost be mistaken for black in poor lightning. Most pictures taken in direct sunlight.

great shot! often times we see a pair of standalone vass and think they might be big or blobby when actually they have a smaller footprint to their english counterparts. the p2 is a perfect example of this. might be the most elegant "fat shoe" ive seen along with gg06 last

It certainly is sleeker than the Marlow which means that's also true when compared to the EG 202. The Marlow and the EG 202 are just about the same.

The P2 has great lines, though for some reason they don't always show well in pics. They do here:

to me the marlow looks much better and more refined.

In terms of fit the P2 and other vass lasts are miles ahead of course (at least for my feet)

I'd need a wide-angle lens for that group shot - not to mention wider steps!
