interesting. is one of your feet wider than the other? I wonder if vass will accommodate a width difference in mto. my right foot is a 45E, while left it 45F.

Me guess and use comon sense.
If foot less wide than stock last it probably impossible to accomodate.
If foot more wide than stock last it probably possible to accomodate.
Me think E and F width could be done because it make sense in shoemaking without sacrifise of stock last,
but it depend on things.

Yes,
budapester shoe me most comfortable rtw.
Me like budapester very very much.
Me think of getting spectator budapester like that,
it look very very good. :slayer:

Thanks. Glad you like it. There some great spectator combinations out there. I've noticed black and cognac recently, which is very nice. Not necessarily a summer shoe, but good looking.

I think the general consensus here is that you would wear the same size between U & K Last (though K is more constricting in the toe box.)  I recently took a risk myself trying the K-last in the same size.  Luckily it worked out fine.  If you read 5 - 6 pages back we discussed the U vs. K shape / sizing.  K is a tad roomier in the instep, but more constricting in the toe box

I don't own anything in K-last, but I believe concensus is you should keep your U-last size.

Thank you guys.

Don't know how I missed these earlier - they are terrific! I am happy the sizing worked out for you - congrats and enjoy the heck out of them.

They shouldn't need Reno - a light coat of cream wax and off you go.

Thank you! The Vass addiction has begun. Already searching for my next pair. These oxblood double monks are calling me.

you would think it would be easy but most wont (G&G, EG), atleast not through MTO. I know that STC will customize a last for you. Im just banging my head for not having the foresight to get my feet measured while I was in budapest. :brick:

In any case, just wanted to give SF'er @stmaier a shout out for sizing help. We are both the same size and dude has been really helpful :slayer:

Also looking forward to more pics of his recent makeups

I'm not 100, but pretty sure Vass will do different widths if MTO.

I thought that G&G and EG would do different sizes or widths for each shoe as well, if it's single MTO. Are you sure they don't? They don't do it in group MTO though.

@Swede66

did you consider increasing the width of your dominant width while keeping your other foot same size? curious if this is allowed or if both have to be identical size

No, thought did not cross my mind.
