+1 i hope you got it with a goyswer welt too - if not tell him too order it with!![IMG]

Just added the G welt. Let's hope you're right! :^)

I am going to raise Slewy with some patinated saddle shell number. This pair came straight after some creaming and brushing.

Yummy! Did you use a dark brown shell cream on these as the creases appear darker than the saddle right after brushing? If not I'm guessing the creases just lightened up a bunch over time and darkened even with chestnut color cream.

I wore these for a good year or so without any maintenance on them. The crease areas lightened as expected, but when I used Saphir shell cream (clear) on them, the creases darkened a tad. I quite like the outcome. There are also other darker spots around the vamp that is visible on close inspection. That's what I call shell patina!

Which is something I'm greatly looking forward to!

    The cordovans are great David!

Just got these from Kolecho last week on the P2 last.

Thanks tchoy! I actually just ordered the same model except in dark brown suede on the F last with a close cut welt. Hopefully they come out as nice as yours! As we can see, Vass rules.

They should come out very nice. I much prefer the F last, its more elegant but I have wide feet I wish Vass would make the F last in a wider fitting.

Wait - the F-last doesn't work for wide feet? I thought that was just the U-last?
