Oooooh, nice! What last? For museum, I would just use a neutral cream or polish. If you feel you need to use a coloured polish down the road to help minimize any small scratches and scuffs, go with something equivalent to the lightest shade present in the shoe.

Ozzy, that's an easy kop and the quickest wait time of anyone doing museum. I am loving my Plum pair.

That museum gold looks much cognac-y than Rogers, which looks much more red

I think it comes down to the source of the leather. For example, I feel like my oxblood is much more brown/eggplant than others who appear like very dark Bordeaux. Different batches of leather seem to vary and I think that museum calf would vary even more since much more goes into it with the mixtures of color. Just my opinion.

edit: and I don't mean different sources of the leather, I meant more the consistency of how the source dyes it.

I think both variables come into play. Mine was the last of the Vass Ilcea, and is among the more reddish-toned examples I have seen from them. Then there are the variables of different photos taken by different people using different cameras, in different locations, with different lighting, being viewed on different monitors etc.

I think the P2 has a relatively low instep.
