Thanks @RogerP . With different fits related to lasts, calf vs. shell, goyser, etc., it is always a relief to put on a perfectly fitting pair.

I have no issues with Ascot's eBay prices. They do have to include VAT and cover eBay fees. Sometimes the sales (and eBay promotions) do make the price very competitive, and there are some unique make-ups to get with a simple click. Sammy is also open to working deals directly via email.

^^^ Indeed - I have always done better than the eBay prices when working directly with Sammy.

Thanks NAMOR. F will look great as well...I wanted to keep this one a little more casual for my current mix.

On the goyser fit, there may be other variables, but comparing all P2 calf my goyser model has more room. That's with others the same size and even the width compared to a half size up. Of course, it could just be the construction of the one I'm comparing.

thanks man, that explains why my P2 boot felt so big. 1/2 sizes big even. boot + goyser + shell = size down 1/2 size from your normal size

yeah, this f last longwing is a boot, and a u-cap. lol will be interesting to see how it turns out

Thanks, and yes, same as my usual P2/F size. With the shell, I can get away with a thicker sock compared to some of the other P2/F calf the same size, but even with a thin sock the laces are not closed all the way...it's perfect, and I wouldn't go down a half on this shoe.

You were right Izzy & jssdc; after 5 business days Mr Kuti gently contacted me (very busy with so many americanos around...I guess...jejeje). Perfect advise on size fitting 42.5 for 3636 and P2 lasts. 7 weeks production for two pairs of MTO. I will show you the beauties once here. Thanks.

^^^ Good stuff. I look forward to seeing the results. 7 weeks is a pretty damned quick turnaround.

I also have been surprised how good the P2 looks in cigar shell. My Budapesters look really sleek

7 weeks was my estimate as well - I went with 42.5, U last OE2 in oxblood with no brogueing. Looking forward to these immensely and have 2-3 more Vass orders in mind if the fit is good.
