I'd be delighted with that result; those are great!
also curious about the initials.. is that something a cobbler could do? it looks simple enough, but i don't know if it might mess with the sole or anything like that
Does anyone know if Vass will do unlined shell/calf/suede? Or have any experience with it themselves?
I've asked on a couple of occasions and have been turned down each time.
Budapest last Budapesters:
Love that two-tone, Frank. Well done!
Thank you RP
Frank's tanks!! You might have to get those re-soled, NEVER!!
Ha! Brilliant, Frank, made me smile
I am in two minds as to whether I love them or not. I think so. But what I'm sure about is that I love the fact that they exist. Well done, Sir!
Very nice shoes FCW. For me if there's one style that best sums up the talents of Laszlo Vass it's the Budapest last budapesters. Wear them in good health.
FCW - I would never have asked you for shoe advice had I known you were sporting two-tone Budapesters while responding to my query. I remember a time when the only thing that came in two-tone were cars. (Speaking of which, when was the last time you saw a two-tone car.) But, to add to what mimo said, I'm not just glad they exist but I'm also glad you've got them. Enjoy them.
Thanks, gents. Happy to carry the burden of wearing these beauties.
I really do think that the style itself is a true classic (setting aside my eccentric choice of color and material).
They're awesome! I want a pair
No question about it. It's a fantastic style and shape. And a little eccentricity doesn't hurt either.
