1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Me guess and use comon sense.
If foot less wide than stock last it probably impossible to accomodate.

Me think E and F width could be done because it make sense in shoemaking without sacrifise of stock last,
    but it depend on things.

Thanks. Glad you like it. There some great spectator combinations out there. I've noticed black and cognac recently, which is very nice. Not necessarily a summer shoe, but good looking.

Thank you! The Vass addiction has begun. Already searching for my next pair. These oxblood double monks are calling me.

I'm not 100, but pretty sure Vass will do different widths if MTO.

I thought that G&G and EG would do different sizes or widths for each shoe as well, if it's single MTO. Are you sure they don't? They don't do it in group MTO though.

Also have them. Rarely use them. But I feel like Tony Montana when I do. My absolute favorite shoe. Very suave.

Too tight in the toe box. I'm going up a width and down half in length for the mentalist :D

Quote:Yes, Vass will accommodate you for MTO's and even GMTO's. I have sort of the same issue with my left foot being about half a size larger than my right. arahat, who is running the Vass group buy thread, confirmed for me that Vass can make an odd-sized pair of shoes for me as part of a GMTO with no surcharge. Definitely good news as I don't think there are many shoemakers out there who are willing to do it without tacking on the standard MTO fee.

    Those are indeed fantastic monks.

I did notice a design change from RogerP's pair, and the Epaulet pair. The straps are noticeably shorter and have hidden strap buckle pieces on the Epaulet pair (also seen on pairs from other SF member as well).

Which is the standard VASS double monk design? So that I can ask for the cleaner Epaulet design, if it is not the standard...

Quote:I gather mine are an older design - but as long as you send Vass (or whomever you are ordering from) a pic of the specific style you want, that should suffice.
