Beautiful new shoes tomcat. The goyser stitching looks really nice. Wear them in the best of health.

Thanks mate. I'd have liked the sole edge dressing to be a little lighter, but all in all I'm happy. The color looks more radiant in person than pictures.

Just made this Vass chart for myself. Shows the various brown/tan shades in natural light vs. the swatches

This is confusing to me. The swatches are boxcalf whereas some of the shoes if not all are shell. The difference b/w cognac 6319 and the shoe most probably in Whiskey shell is quite distinct. I have both and can clearly tell even though I have a hard time figuring the nuances b/w saddle/whiskey and cognac shell. If I had not known I could probably never be able to tell :)

Here's a complete buyer's guide: http://shoegazingpunktse.blogspot.se/2012/10/kopguide-vass-shoes.html
You'll find a chart with their leathers a bit down in the text. They regularly offer three shades of suede.
The above article is excellent, use the google translate button on the top right of the page to help.

There is also 3 museum calfs (though with the new tannery this is up in the air) an oiled green color now shown that is pretty amazing.

All the suedes should be listed in the article.

Different sizes, both on U last. The left one is a UK5.5, the other one is a UK8.5. Just received another 2 pairs today, cant wait to use them.
