Thanks for the kind words, all.

I'm definitely a bit jealous of those shoes, since the F-last isn't available in my size, and I love its looks. It was a huge relief that they fit the groom-to-be, though — that was a big worry, especially with the closed lacing! We've known each other since we were kids ripping around in a BMX park, so the symbolism of going from beat-up sneakers to handmade Oxfords of this quality means something. He's the type of person that understands the work that goes into something of this nature, which is why I chose them in the first place. Knowing that they'll be appreciated makes a big difference.

The BMX shoes still have their place, though...

These look so good...if I had a few extra pairs I would use them as planters for the plants in the background.

I thought you were getting him those ropes, and just chose to take pics of them on top of a pair of Vass

No disrespect to those who like 5 leather shades on one shoe in the U-Last, but THIS is what a dress shoe should look like

+1 everyone should have a pair of dark brown cap toe in the wardrobe like this.

So I take it that none of these would work?

Spectators were not dress shoes. At least back in the days.

I know, I know, just having fun.

In fact that is what those shoes are for.

Those of you from the US who have purchased Vass, how did you transfer the USD to euro then wire it? I've seen the western union and currency fair posts, but is that just for the people on here in Europe, or does that work for US to Euro transfers also?

Yes. Or just plain old bank wire.

Bank wire. They can give you the information for a transfer in USD.
