1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yuppie; why not nail your size in your preferred last then order the captoe direct from Vass?

Thanks for suggestion, but that sounds like an incredibly agonizing amount of work. I am time poor and can't stand the hassle of mailing things. Also if this strategy depends on ordering something from a vendor and returning it, it's a breach of my ethical standards.

I'm one of those guys that puts a huge premium on convenience and easyness when it comes to personal stuff.

I assume some store in NYC will eventually carry Vass. NMWA doesn't have a physical store right?

^ NMWA has an informal showroom. You can make an appointment to stop in and try on their wares.

They are good to deal with.

Also, Epaulet has two addresses on their website-- does that imply a storefront? Their website has F, P2, and 3636 models.

Epaulet has Vass shoes in stock in the lower east side NY location I know for sure and it is most definitely a bricks and mortar operation. Great people to deal with.

NMWA is highly recommended as well.

Its not a Budapester but rather a Budapest oxford in F last. Looking good though.

No offence but is this in vogue in Austria? Somewhat shorter length trousers and Suit than we see here in the US of A?

    No offence taken :)

I do not need to wear my suits very conservatively & I like my pants with no break. I understand this is not to everyones liking.
Men in Austria most often wear their suit pants way too long, like everywhere in the world ;)

OK. Thanks for the correction. Original post edited.

Is the Budapester then the open-laced/Blucher wingtip? On any last or only on the Budapest last?

Or should I not use that term at all?

    :)

    And thank you, RogerP!
