I am trying to being diplomatic - Mr Vass won't be here today without his loyal old school customer base....he made a bold move 10 years ago by
teaming up with Isetan/Ugolino..and look where he now.

R last is too rounded for my foot.

    Agree.

    Disappointing news for all:

    The con's
    1) New funky models every 6 months
    2) Multi colour Boat shoes for the Hermes Yacht owners
    3) Profits will double & Prices will triple
    4) Profits propping up the French economy and Monaco based shareholders pension pot.
    5) Reszo be speaking to us in French
    6) Orange calf leather
    7) New £100K laser pattern cutting machines and off-shoring.
    8) 99.99% of Profits be pumped into Hermes PR and Advertising Dept.
    9) Etc....etc....

    The Pro's
    1) Better website
    2) Paypal & all CC accepted.
    3) Vass shoes available in all high end hotels and airport.

^ Very nice, shell? what is the real color? Looks different on first two and the last pics.

What I like the most of all in these EE producers like Vass, Maftei and St.Crispins is that they can easily do almost every make-up you asked for and it takes them only 6 to 8 weeks. And in the end you will get the very well done product.
Why than most other companies need 6 to 8 months for te MTO ? (which accepts very few changes to standard make-up btw). Even Carmina needs 6 month.

Vass even didn't ask me for any downpayment to start MTO, unbelievable.

    My personal experience:

SC has the quickest turn around time - I had 4 pairs of MTO in one order and shoes were completed within 4 1/2 weeks.

Vass can take anything from 7 to 10 weeks. My Cordovan boots were over 12 weeks. This was partly
down to the Shell suppliers in the US.

But in general they are faster than the Brits - John Lobb London are quoting 10-12 months for your first pair of bespoke.
    Cleverley not far off....

That's good to hear - I've had certain MTO - that are part of their usual RTW lineup made & sent to me within 5 weeks too.
Some short as 3 weeks, only because they were already in the production line for their RTW shop.
